We believe that everyone is in a leadership position in some fashion- whether they are leading their own life, leading a family, a community, a team or an organization….but not everyone is an effective or optimistic leader…Our coaches  help you gain insight into the type of leader you are, want t0 become, and can be!

WHAT COACHING IS:

  • A process that takes individuals and businesses from where they are to where they want to be by clarifying goals, assessing  strengths, analyzing success , meeting current challenges, clarifying goals, removing obstacles, and forwarding action.
  • Predicated on the core belief that every individual and organization has the answers within to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Results oriented, and process driven.
  • Based on the belief that effective and long lasting change occurs from the inside out, both individually, and organizationally.
  • A confidential relationship utilizing, accountability, common sense, empathy,  positive thinking and deep, intuitive listening, to achieve satisfying and meaningful  results!

WHAT COACHING IS NOT:

  • Therapy – Unlike traditional therapy, the main focus of coaching is not on “healing emotional wounds” from childhood. Coaching places emphasis on learning from the past only as it pertains to present challenges and future goals.
  • Consulting – Consultants are generally hired to “fix “problems, or offer solutions, based on their expertise in a specific field, but are usually not actively involved in the process of change. Coaches, rather than giving advice or answers, help the client to access the answers from within, and then support them throughout the change management process.  *
  • Mentoring -
Coaches do not use their own experiences as a model for the client’s success, but rather honor the individuality of every journey, and empower the client to follow their own unique path.

*Because our coaching team has such vast  cross- industry experience and  knowledge, there may be times a “coach/consultant hat” is briefly worn, but always in service of helping the leader to discover what works best for them.
